发明名称 NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTIC SECONDARY BATTERY
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent improper insertion of a winding electrode body in a process of manufacture while reducing a temperature rise of a battery even when a large current flows by generating an external short-circuit or the like, by setting ratio of a battery capacity to a sectional area of a negative electrode lead to a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:As a negative electrode collector 10, belt-shaped copper foil is used, and the collector 10, uniformly applying to its both surfaces a negative electrode compound (slurry), is dried thereafter compression molded by a roller press machine, to manufacture a belt-shaped negative electrode 1. Next to an end part of the negative electrode 1, a nickel-made negative electrode lead 12 for current collection is welded, further to laminate the negative electrode 1 and a positive electrode 2 through a separator 3, and by winding in many turns, a winding electrode body is manufactured. Here is set ratio of a battery capacity to a sectional area of the lead 12 to l.6Ah/mm<2> to 7.9Ah/mm<2>. Thus, even when a large current flows by generating an external short-circuit or the like, a battery temperature is prevented from so rising. Improper insertion of the winding electrode body is difficult to be easily generated in a process of manufacture, and productivity can be improved.
