The control valve opening control unit has a pivotally mounted accelerator lever linked to an accelerator operation and a first engagement element disposed on it at a distance from a pivotal axis. A drive lever is linked to an actuator and has a second engagement member. A pivotally mounted control valve shaft lever is assembled integral with a control valve and has a third engagement member located at a distance from a pivotal axis. A link lever has engagement portions for engagement with the three engagement members such that any one of distances between the first and second members.The first and third members, and the second and third members is variable for linking together the accelerator lever, drive lever and control valve shaft lever.
