PURPOSE:To sustain the gloss, flexible fabric hand and draping properties inherent to purified cellulosic fibers by preventing their fibrillation generated by their friction under wet conditions. CONSTITUTION:Purified cellulosic fibers are scoured and soaked in a treating solution containing an onium-forming agent such as a cationic compound containing a quaternary ammonium salt to effect oniuim treatment.
