PURPOSE:To form no gap between a cover and a case when they are fit to make appearance good by forming a one step high ring-shaped projection on the circumferential surface on opposite side to the fluorescent lamp mounting side of a socket case and making the outer diameter of the projection almost equal to the inner diameter of the socket cover. CONSTITUTION:A socket cover 27 is fit to a fluorescent lamp 21, the fluorescent lamp 21 is pressed against a fitting part 22b of a socket 22, and a base pin 21a of the fluorescent lamp 21 is fit to the socket 22. A socket cover 27 is moved toward a socket case 26 to fit to the outer circumferential surface of a projection 23b on the bottom side of a socket case part 23 and to fit the cover 27 to the case 26. Since the inner diameter of the cover 27 is almost equal to the outer diameter of the projection 23b, a gap is not produced between the cover 27 and the case part 23, therefore, appearance is made good. |
