PURPOSE: To obtain a parison wall thickness-adjusting method for adjusting a wall thickness of an arbitrary part of a parison without occurrence of warpage. CONSTITUTION: After a parison 3 of a fixed wall thickness is formed between a male split mold 11 and a female split mold 12-opposedly disposed, the parison is held by two holding rods 41, 42 inserted through the female split mold. When the split mold is moved toward the parison to be clamped, an interval between the holding rods is changed for the adjustment of the wall thickness of the parison. Alternatively, the holding rods may be installed to the male split mold, and the parison may be held at the inside thereof. In another alternative, the wall thickness of the parison may be adjusted by holding the parison by three or more holding rods. |
