PURPOSE: To provide a data communication processing method and data communication equipment and a data terminal therefor capable of efficiently utilizing network resources, reducing invalid cell transmission and improving communication efficiency. CONSTITUTION: In this data communication equipment 10, the storage amount of cells in a cell buffer 12 is monitored by a cell buffer storage amount monitoring device 14 and the cells are transmitted after traffic load information for indicating the storage amount of the cells and the change state is written in a header area. In these respective data terminal equipments 20-1-20-5, the traffic load information is analyzed and the transmission of the cells is controlled corresponding to the contents, the transmission conditions of the cells of their own and the reception conditions of the cells from the other terminals. Thus, the unconditional stoppage of the transmission of the cells is eliminated and the generation of cell abandonment in the cell buffer 12 is prevented.
