<p>PURPOSE: To fix the difference of response independently of the obtained speed of a detection body with respect to the detecting sensor which discriminates a periodically obtained input signal to binarize it. CONSTITUTION: A clock signal is periodically generated by a clock generating means 11a of a microcomputer 11 to drive a light throwing element 3. The light reception signal obtained synchronously with this driving is converted by an A/D conversion means 11b. It is subjected to averaging processing a prescribed number of times by an averaging processing means 11c and is discriminated by a discriminating means 11d. In the case of the outside of a window area including thresholds THON and THOFF, the averaging processing means 11C performs averaging processing after converting it to the boundary value of this area.</p> |
