The bin comprises a part forming a receptacle (1) having a bottom (3) and a side wall (4) with a rim (5) defining an opening. A cover (2) can pivot and/or slide on the receptacle between open and closed positions. There is an internal partition wall (19) extending between the bottom and the opening which separates the receptacle into two distinct compartments (20), each having its own opening. The cover is in two parts (2a,2b) corresponding to the number of compartments. The cover has colours (21) for identifying the compartments, each part having its own colour. These colour identifications are on the internal and external faces of the cover. The receptacle has second colour identifications (22) for the compartments.
