PURPOSE: To provide a recorder having no hardware complexity, which continue recording with other ink instead of ink of no residue by software data processing. CONSTITUTION: Yellow, magenta, cyan and black inks are discharged from Y, M, C and Bk heads 30 to 33 based on record data to record a color image, and when the residue of one ink is eliminated, record data is so formed as to discharge the other ink instead of the ink of no residue, and recording is continued with the substitute ink. |
