PURPOSE: To obtain a powder medium capable of omitting labor of weighing the powder medium in preparing a medium, preventing the powder medium from scattering, facilitating throwing the powder medium into a dissolving container, further checking moisture absorption and preventing moisture absorption during preservation after opening a packing material. CONSTITUTION: This medium is obtained by separately packing a powder medium in an amount for use for once, optionally packing doubly the powder medium with a moisture-resistant packing material and making the moisture-resistant packing material resealable. The powder medium is prepared by sealing and packing a fixed volume of a powder medium as a liquid medium or an agar medium with a packing material having moisture resistance. The medium is obtained by sealing and packing plural packed bags prepared by packing a fixed volume of the powder medium as a liquid medium or an agar medium with a water vapor-resistant packing material. The medium is obtained by sealing and packing a fixed volume of a powder medium as a liquid medium or an agar medium with a water-soluble film having thermally fusing properties and sealing and packing one or plural bags of the sealed and packaged bags with a moisture-resistant packing material.
