PURPOSE: To conduct measuring with excellent precision by providing an absorber internal pressure estimating means, and a load estimating means estimating the load carried on a vehicle based on a car height-load characteristic and a detection value of a car height detection means. CONSTITUTION: If a load W can be estimated as W0 , an absorber internal pressure P is determined as an internal pressure P2 based on the phenomenon that a characteristic curve passes a coordinate (Hr1 , W0 ) when a car height Hr reaches a target car height Hr1 . If the internal pressure P can be determined as the internal pressure P2 , thereafter, in the case of a load W change, the load W after the change can be determined as the load W1 based on a car height Hr2 against the internal pressure P2 if the car height Hr after the load change is detected before a pumping operation, which changes the absorber internal pressure P of a self pumping absorber, is conducted. In the case of the long period stopping of a vehicle, the internal pressure P becomes to be equal to the pressure of a low pressure adjusting room or decrease finally so as to be stable so that the internal pressure P can be determined as the internal pressure P0 . In the case of the short period stopping, the internal pressure P is determined as the function of the car height Hr so that the load W is estimated based on only the car height Hr. |
