A low-vibration folding device drive for a rotary press is produced in that each drivable rotating part or unit has a separate motor. Here, the motor concerned is positively secured to the corresponding rotating part, e.g. perforating rollers, folding cylinders or longitudinal folding devices. The motors are regulated by means of prior art electrical devices.
