The inclination of the member (2) articulated on a frame (1) is adjusted by a flat plate (5) with notches (14). They are radial with respect to the axis of articulation (3). It pivots round an axle parallel to this axis. A finger (6), mounted on the frame, engages in the notches. A spring (7) acts on the plate to make the finger engage in one notch. A lever (8) pivots the plate against the spring, to remove the finger from a notch. The spring is an elastically deformable plate joined to the notched plate and the articulated member.
