<p>The present invention relates to a co-stabilizer for polymer compositions comprising one or more polymers such as vinyl or vinylidene polymers and copolymers or polyolefines. The co-stabilizer is an ester alcohol prepared from at least one di, tri or polyfunctional alcohol, having a hydroxyl functionality (f1) of at least 2, and at least one hydroxyfunctional carboxylic acid, having a hydroxyl functionality (f2) of at least 1, preferably at least 2, whereby obtained reaction product has an average hydroxyl functionality (f3) of at least f1, preferably more than f1. In a further aspect said invention relates to a polymer composition comprising said co-stabilizer and in yet a further aspect to an article of manufacture, which article is made from or includes a polymer composition comprising the co-stabilizer.</p> |
