摘要 PURPOSE: To obtain an AC commutator motor, for a vacuum cleaner, whose efficiency is high and whose brush life is long by a method wherein the ratio of the number of turns of a coil side in the front position to the number of turns of a coil side in the rear position is set to a specific range and the resistivity of a brush is set to a specific range. CONSTITUTION: The maximum input of an AC commutator motor is set at 500W or higher, the speed of rotation of the motor at the maximum input is set at 23000rpm or higher, the ratio of the number of turns of a coil side in the front position to the number of turns of a coil side in the rear position is set to a range of 1.6 to 3.2, and the resistivity of a brush is set to a range exceeding 20000(μΩ.cm) and at 80000(μΩ.cm) or lower. Thereby, the performance of a rectifying operation can be enhanced, and the life of the brush and the efficiency of the motor can be enhanced. As a result, it is possible to obtain the AC commutator motor whose speed is high, which can increase an input and which is suitable for a vacuum cleaner to which a high-performance function has been added by controlling an input.
