PURPOSE: To provide nonwoven fabric for a dewatering filter having excellent dewatering performance and heat sealing property by using conjugate filaments having a core-sheath structure of a specified form, forming plural welded regions and nonwelded regions at a specified interval, and specifying the distance between fibers which constitute the nonwelded region. CONSTITUTION: Conjugate filaments 11 of 5-12 denier having a core-sheath structure are used to make nonwoven fabric having 10-30g/m<2> unit weight. Welded regions 12 are formed by using an embossing roller or the like, while nonwelded regions 13 are formed among the welded regions 12. In the nonwelded region 13, filaments 11 are not welded with each other and the distance S between the filaments 11 is 50-1600μm. By this method, desired water permeability can be obtd. The obtd. cloth is folded and heat sealed to obtain a dewatering bag for a kitchen. The nonwoven fabric can be made of various materials, and especially an olefin fiber polymer is preferably used. For example, the core of the filament is made of polyethylene terephthalate and the sheath is made of polypropylene or polyethylene.
