The present invention relates to acid granulates containing a redox-active substance. The redox-active substance is protected in this form against undesirable chemical interactions with atmospheric oxygen or other constituents. The granulates of the invention are preferably incorporated into dishwasher detergents, where the redox-active substances, e.g. a transition or main group metal salt or complex, acts especially as a silver corrosion protective agent.
