PURPOSE: To mass-produce envelopes having various sizes by using a long continuous sheet like material. CONSTITUTION: Long continuous paper 1 having predetermined width is successively supplied in a running state so that the center position 2 in the longitudinal direction of the continuous paper 1 becomes the upper end part of an envelope. Pasting forming the side end parts of the envelope is symmetrically applied to both left and right sides 1a, 1a of the center position 2 to form magins 3 to paste up and, next, both left and right sides 1a, 1a of the running continuous paper 1 are folded at are the position having a predetermined interval from the center position 2 toward the center position 2 and this folded continuous paper 1 is pressed by a roller to bond the pasted parts and, further, the running continuous paper 1 is successively cut laterally along the center position 2 and pasting positions. |
