The method is designed to manufacture the end part of an expandable fishing rod. The method includes : a resin damping process (A) of applying a coating resin (4) of polyester resin or epoxy resin mixed with hardener and pigment to a core member (1) made of glass fiber yarn or carbon fiber yarn; preheating process (B) of removing air bubbles contained in the core member (1) and the coating resin (4) and then preheating; a hardening process (C) of heating and hardening; and drawing and cutting process (D) of drawing out and cutting the core member (1) containing a hardened resin coated layer.
