The shelf bases (5) and a possible upper closure base (6) are provided on the front closure edge with a continuous strip (15,16) which has at least one guide groove or similar in which a sliding door (7,8,9,10) can engage. The strip has a guide groove on both the top and bottom sides. At least two parallel guide grooves can be provided on one side of the strip. Guide grooves can also be provided on both the front edge of the bases and on their rear edges. The ladder-like side parts have U-shaped upwardly open cross bars in which the bases hang from above.
