<p>PURPOSE: To enable a bidder to bid at auction over a look at a still picture of an object article of auction in real time by connecting a center and terminals by a communication line and sending and receiving information of the auction including images, response information of the auction, etc. CONSTITUTION: An auction server is installed at the center 101 of the auction, and this center 101 and terminals T1 -Tn of bidders are connected by a satellite communication 102 and a ground pay telephone line 103. Information regarding articles put up at the auction including the image information is sent in real time from the center to the terminals T1 -Tn by down transmission using the satellite communication 102. The bidders of the auction respond to the auction over a look at the sent information on the auction and their information is sent to the center 101 by using the pay telephone line 103. Information on the articles put up at the auction can be sent to the center 101 by using the pay telephone line 103 while the state of the auction is judged.</p> |
