<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin capable of giving a toner excellent in low-temp. fixability, having satisfactory fixability excellent in anti-offsetting and excellent also in developing characteristics and to obtain a toner using the resin. SOLUTION: This resin is a styrenic resin obtd. by adding a monoepoxy compd. represented by the formula to carboxyl groups. In the formula, each of R1 and R2 H, an alkyl, alkyloxy or acryloxy, both of them are not H and the aliphatic part of each of the alkyl, alkyloxy and acyloxy has >=8C atoms.</p> |
