<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect the translational vibration of a camera and to accurately correct image blurring. SOLUTION: This image blurring correction camera is provided with acceleration detecting devices 1 to 3 detecting acceleration in three axes directions acting on the camera, angular velocity detecting devices 4 to 6 detecting triaxial angular velocity acting on the camera, a posture arithmetic calculation means 9 calculating a coordinate transformation matrix between a camera coordinate system and a still coordinate system from the acceleration in three axes directions and the triaxial angular velocity, and a gravitational acceleration component arithmetic calculation means 10 calculating a gravitational acceleration component in the camera coordinate system from the coordinate transformation matrix. Initial rate is calculated from acceleration from which the gravitational acceleration component is removed, the velocity is calculated from the acceleration and the initial rate calculated, and displacement is calculated from the velocity calculated. A correction driving amount arithmetic calculation means 11 calculates image blurring amount based on the calculated results.</p> |
