<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inexpensive motor power steering system having high assembling workability in which an appropriate rotary torque is generated during the normal operation and an undue torque acting to an auxiliary steering torque transmission mechanism part or a motor can be absorbed. SOLUTION: A section 12 for generating rotary torque is coupled with a torque limiter section 13 absorbing an undue torque so that a torque higher than a predetermined level can be absorbed. A friction plate 28 is disposed at the torque limiter section 13 between a case 26 secured to an output shaft 17 and a boss 27 to be coupled with driven shafts 31, 32 such that the case 26 and the boss 27 can rotate relatively.</p> |
