The apparatus includes a heat exchanger (16) to transfer thermal collector (12) heat from one thermal carrier medium to the hot side of a Peltier element module (32), whose cold ride is coupled to a heat sink. Pref. the heat carrier medium circulates in a first heat carrier circuit (14). Typically a second heat carrier circuit (24) focus the heat sink and is linked to a water heater (28, 30). Between the two heat carrier circuits may be located the heat exchanger, between whose heat exchanger pipes for the two thermal carrier media are incorporated Peltier elements, whose hot sides abut exchange pipes (18) for the first medium, while then cold sides abuts exchange pipes (20, 22) for the second medium.
