<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a noise from occurring in avoiding the occurrence of vibration in a control value by prohibiting any operation of the control valve when the stoppage of an engine is detected by releasing this operative prohinition of the control valve when the state of engine rotation is detected, in this intake system equipped with the control valve altering an intake passage form. SOLUTION: Two intake passages 14 and 15 are connected to the upstream end of a branch intake passage 9 in an inlet manifold installed in space between two banks 1A and 1B of a V-engine 1, and a control valve 17 is installed in the connecting part. In addition, on-off control over this control valve 17 is carried out by a control unit 30 according to the driving state. In brief, when the engine 1 is stopped, the control valve 17 is kept in a state of being normally closed. On the other hand, when the engine 1 is rotated, namely, an automatic transmission is in a D range, and at low speed and low load ranges and the whole medium speed range, the control valve is opened and thereby such a characteristic as being smooth to a speed variation is obtained. Moreover, at a high load range and the whole high speed range, this valve is closed.</p> |
