<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a continuous stripe piece wherein two individual segments are mutually engaged by forming a segment equipped with first and second end units respectively having holes and a plurality of the intermediate units provided between the end units by injection molding and re-inserting the second end unit of the segment into a mold to connect the same to the first end unit of a next segment. SOLUTION: A plastic continuous stripe piece 10 is constituted by interlocking a plurality of segments constituted of a plurality of units containing front and rear end units. After the individual segment is molded and cooled, the mold top part 31 is separated to inject plastic and the indexing of a position is performed to a next molding cycle. At this position, an end unit 26 and the next unit 33 continued thereto are held in the end cavities 34, 35 of a mold. When the mold top part is closed, a core pin 42 penetrates into the holes of the interlocked unit 26 and the next unit 33. In the next cycle of the mold, the cavities are filled with molten plastic and the rear end unit 26 is encapsulated and sealed in the coating molding part of the next segment.</p> |
