PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cause a refrigerator size to be adapted for the most preferable operating range for an attitude of a user and improve a convenience in use of the refrigerator by a method wherein a height of an upper end art of a drawer door of a vegetable chamber is set to a range more than a specified length and less than a specified length from a floor surface and further a refrigerator chamber is provided with a child chamber having an opening or closing door at its lower part. SOLUTION: A drawer door 20 is mounted at a front part of a vegetable clamber 200 together with storing cases 202 and 204. Each of the front surfaces of an opening or closing door 10, a drawer door of a freezing chamber and a drawer door 20 of the vegetable chamber 200 is mounted such that they may be arranged in a forward or rearward direction with each of the doors being closed and arranged in alignment to each other in a forward or rearward direction. Then, a height H2 of the upper end of the drawer door 20 of the vegetable chamber 200 is set to a range of more than 850mm to less than 1000mm from the floor surface and a child chamber 104 provided with an opening or closing door at a lower part of the refrigerator chamber. With such an arrangement as above, a storing characteristic of the vegetable chamber can be improved, an operating range which is the most preferable one for an attitude of a user can be attained and then a convenience in use can be made superior. |
