PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize high output laser beam while enhancing the collecting power by taking out a laser beam generated in a laser medium gas annularly by means of an output mirror and then converting the ratio of outside and inside diameters of laser beam thus taken out. SOLUTION: A laser beam in a resonator body is reflected on a convex mirror 18a in the center of an output mirror and propagates, as a spherical wave, through a laser medium space with the outer diameter of beam being enlarged. The laser beam is then reflected on a collimate mirror 13 and propagates again, as a plane wave, through the laser medium space to an output mirror 18. The ratio of outside diameterϕDa and inside diameterϕda . of a laser beam from the output mirror 18 is converted by means of a conical mirror 19 and a ring mirror 20. This arrangement realizes a high output laser beam while enhancing the collecting power.
