PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the flexibility and conservatism of an operation management system for each moving body by executing the running control of the moving body only through mutual communication between the moving bodies without interposing the ground equipment between them. SOLUTION: An ultrasonic transmitting device 1 is provided for one train, an ultrasonic receiving device 12 and a signal processing circuit 13 are parovided for the other train, timing for receiving and transmitting ultrasonic signals is synchronized by the timing signal generating circuits 2 and 11 of each train, and ultrasonic signals are received and transmitted through a metallic transmitting medium. In the train at the receiving side, the transmission time of each ultrasonic signal is measured by the signal processing circuit 13, and information required for train running control is produced based on the aforesaid measured value. |
