PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure antiskid performance and rear wheel braking performance even in a splitμroad different in road surfaceμbetween right and left sides in a four-wheel drive vehicle SOLUTION: An antiskid brake control device for a four-wheel drive vehicle comprises a lock symptom detecting means (a), a road surface friction determining means (b), a hydraulic actuator (c) for increasing, decreasing and retaining the brake cylinder operating pressure, and a brake control means (d) for operating the hydraulic actuator (c) to decrease in pressure when a lock symptom is detected. In this case, a splitμroad surface detecting means (b') capable of detecting a splitμroad surface different in coefficient of friction of running road surface between right and left wheels is provided as the road surface friction determining means (b), and the brake control means (d) is adapted to conduct the rear wheel simultaneous pressure reducing control for outputting a pressure reduction command to the rear wheel in the same brake system as the front wheel simultaneously with a pressure reduction command for the front wheel only in the case where a lock symptom is detected in the front wheel on lowμside at the time of detecting the splitμroad surface.
