PURPOSE: A method for managing a PTS is provided to remove an extra memory for a PTS pointer and easily find out a PTS matched with an ES, thereby easily configuring a logic for lip sync. CONSTITUTION: A digital signal receiver receives PES(Packetized Elementary Stream)s from a memory or an input device for confirming PTS(Presentation Time Stamp) positions defined by a standard in the PESs and extracting a PTS value. A PTS index is connected with the extracted PTS. The PTS index is stored together with the PTS. Each audio decoder and video decoder extract an ES(Elementary Stream) from the PES by confirming start and end positions of the ES. The extracted ES is attached to the rear of the PTS to be stored in the memory. |
