<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a melting/solidifying method such that an object to be processed consisting mainly of resin can be efficiently processed, completely sterilized even if it is a resin container such as a used medical syringe with a needle, greatly reduced in dimensions as a waste resin, and transformed into a resin block so as to be utilized for recycling. SOLUTION: An object to be processed mainly consisting of resin is put in a solidifying tank 20, heat-sterilized by heating the tank 20, and melted. Then, the object is pressurized from above inside the tank 20, with the upper layer of the object depressed as the lower layer is melted in the tank 20; also, the air in the object is forced out, as is a gas generated during the melting of the object; after the object is melted, it is kept warm for a set time for aging. Subsequently, the melted object is cooled, solidified, transformed into a resin block and taken out of the solidifying tank 20.</p> |
