PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for fixing a toner image on the final substrate easily controlling the gloss of the final image. SOLUTION: This toner compsn. contains toner particles and n-kinds of hydrophobic inorg. particles having features i), ii), iii). i) The number (n) is at least 2. ii) The toner particles contain a toner resin and have 15-2,000Pa. S melt viscosityηmeasured with a plate-plate rheometer at 120 deg.C and 100r.p.s. and 0.4-1.5m<2> /g average BET surface area (BETton ). iii) The n-kinds of hydrophobic inorg. particles separately have average BET surface areas (BETip1 ,..., BETipn ), they exist in this toner compsn. by A1 ,..., An wt.%, respectively, based on the amt. of the toner particles and the value BR calculated by the equation is 150-375.
