PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin-film magnetic structure which is usable as a reading converter capable of generating differential signals by removing common-mode noises and is usable as the magnetic pole of a magnetic head decreased in Barkhausen noises. SOLUTION: The formation of the magnetic structure having film layers of different magnetization orientation imparted by a common magnetic bias layer is executed in this method. In such a case, an antiferromagnetic layer 30 is adhered between first and second ferromagnetic layers 22 and 32. Next, the magnetization of different directions is induced in the first and second ferromagnetic layers 22, 32 by discretely using magnetic fields 28, 34 of the different orientation at the time of adhering the first and second ferromagnetic layers 22, 32. The magnetization of the different directions in the first and second ferromagnetic layers 22, 32 is maintained throughout the process of exchange bonding by the antiferromagnetic layer 30 which is held therebetween and functions as the bias layer. |
