PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a fan-shaped advertising medium having sufficient strength as a single-plate- shaped fan from fans that are more accurate than rectangular pieces of paper by allowing folded parts to exactly mesh with each other when a paper fan is opened. SOLUTION: A rectangular piece 1 of paper and a piece 2 of paper of the same size are made to overlap each other and a predetermined position on a longitudinal centerline F is opened about a leg-opening center O in such a way that an apex A at the right upper side of one rectangular piece 1 of paper coincides with an apex C at the left upper side of the other rectangular piece 2 of paper, and one rectangular piece 1 of paper is folded inward by using as a folding line 3 a line by which, of points by which the part between the lower apexes B, D of each piece of paper which are opposite to the apexes made to coincide with each other is divided into three equal sections, the point E at the apex at the right underside of one rectangular piece of paper is connected to the matched apex A at the right upper side of one rectangular piece of paper, and then the same rectangular piece of paper is folded outward by using as a folding line 4 a line that forms a line symmetry with the centerline of the folding line 3. A plurality of fans are joined together in such a way that the outwardly folded part 6 of one fan meshes with the inwardly folded part 5 of the other fan, and a hole 7 is bored in the leg-opening center, and the fans are locked together in such a way as to be rotatable about the hole 7. |
