摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the rapid separation of an enatiomeric mixture at a high percentage of success and obtaining of a desired enantiomer at a high enantiomeric excessive ratio by bringing a resolving agent mixture in which two or more resolving agents are contained and one or more thereof are optically active into contact with an enantiomeric mixture. SOLUTION: A resolving agent mixture in which two or more resolving agents are contained and one or more thereof are optically active [e.g. an optically active (substituted)mandelic acid represented by formula I (R1 and R2 are each H, an alkyl, etc.)] (e.g. a mixture of mandelic acid with p- methylmandelic acid and p-fluoromandelic acid) is brought into contact with an enantiomeric mixture [e.g. a phenalkylamine represented by formula II (R5 is an alkyl; R6 and R7 are each H, etc.)] (e.g. p-bromo-phenethylamine) to produce a diastereomer complex. The resultant complex is then converted into an enantiomer by a well-known method, e.g. treatment with an acid or a base, subsequent extraction, distillation or chromatography.
