The wax candle has a wick which has a thinner section, and its lowermost and final part os coated with a mixt. comprising aluminium, binder and solven. When the candle has burnt down to the thinner part, the extinguiishing process commences, due to the possibility of sucking up moulten wax being halved, thereby reducing the flame, and therefore the melting of the wax. When the wick has burnt to the lower end of the thinner part, the extinguishing process is complete, with a completely dry wick inside the aluminium casing. |
