PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form images however small a recording medium is, by applying an adhesion force to a surface of a recording mediumassisting sheet and transferring the sheet into an image-forming apparatus in a state where the recording medium is adhered to the surface of the sheet. SOLUTION: A recording medium-assisting sheet 20 is formed of a sheet-like base 1 of paper, synthetic resin or the like and an adhesive layer 2 formed on one face of the base 1. A cover sheet is provided separably to the adhesive layer 2 upon necessities. The sheet-like base 1 is set to have a thickness, e.g. in a range of 50-200μm. The adhesive layer 2 is formed in a thickness of, e.g. 1-30μm by coating an adhesive mass to the base 1 which essentially consists of a water-soluble polymer resin with polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinyl pyrrolidone, etc., combined. In using the sheet, the cover sheet is separated, a recording medium 30 of a small size is attached on the adhesive layer 2 with the use of a ruled line 3, and the recording medium together with the assisting sheet 20 is set to a printer to be printed.
