PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small sized antenna system that is applicable to a mobile communication equipment that sends/receives signals with a wide variety range of frequencies. SOLUTION: The antenna system 10 is made up of an antenna main body 11 and a frequency adjustment circuit 12. The adjustment circuit 12 has a parallel circuit 16 consisting of a diode D1 and a capacitor C12 and a series circuit consisting of a resistor R11 and a capacitor C11, and a control power supply Vc that controls ON/OFF of the diode D1 is connected to a connecting point between the resistor R11 and the capacitor C11. Furthermore, a high frequency circuit RF of a mobile communication equipment that connects to a capacitor C13 to adjust an input impedance of the antenna system 10 is connected to ground via a capacitor C14. Moreover, the diode D1 connects to ground via a resistor R12.
