<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and efficiently lock and unlock a cartridge caddy to a storage rack of an automatic changer by holding the data cartridge with a cartridge spring having the two different tip shapes and unlocking by a specified lock release actuator. SOLUTION: By lock springs 408 of the cartridge spring 724, the insertion of the data cartridge into slots of the caddy 300 is allowed by the combination of the tip shape 710 and the inclined tip 726, and also a protrusion of the data cartridge is caught and held for fixing it to the caddy 300. By one of latches 410 of the cartridge spring 724, the protrusion of the cartridge is caught for fixing to the back face wall 802 of a magazine 342 with the slight holding force, and the cartridge is held during the lock springs 408 are invalidated. By a lock spring release 704 vertically fixed to the magazine 342, the lock springs 408 are pushed downward for bending linked with a button 328 to invalidate the lock so that the cartridge is allowed to release.</p> |
