<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a back side of a recording medium front being polluted when the printing is started by operating an attaching/detaching mechanism to separate a second roller from a first roller when a prescribed separating condition is judged to be established. SOLUTION: When the condition of starting the printing is ready, and the surface temperature of a heat roller is sufficiently high, the toner accumulated on a cleaning pat is peeled, and again adhered to the heat roller, and further to a press roller 50, and the separating condition is set to this condition. By driving a motor 114 in the reverse direction, a gear 124 is in a locked condition, the drive of the motor 114 is transmitted to an eccentric cam 167, and a release lever 173 is turned clockwise accompanied by the turn. The press roller 50 is separated from the heat roller against the urging force of a spring 81 corresponding to the turning quantity of the eccentric cam 167.</p> |
