<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method by which flame non-retardant cables and spreading fire preventing agent laid on a cable tray or cable rack can be stripped off easily from a cable-receiving material. SOLUTION: A stripping-off device 10 is provided with a main body 11, a pair of engaging sections 12 which are respectively engaged with the side materials of a cable tray from the bottom side of a cable receiving material 2, a lift body 13 attached to the main body 11 in a state where the body 13 can be elevated and lowered, and an elevating/lowering means 14 which and lowers the lift body 13 from the main body 11. When the lift body 13 is elevated from the main body 11, a flame non-retardant cable 6a and a spreading fire- preventing agent 7 are raised and stripped off from the cable-receiving material.</p> |
