PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition useful for a wire-fixing tape in electrical equipment, a dicing film, etc., by including an acrylic copolymer, a polyepoxy compound and a catalyst composed of an ammonium organic acid salt. SOLUTION: The objective acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive composition is produced by using (A) an acrylic copolymer containing (a) 50-99.5 wt.% of an alkyl (meth)acrylate having a 4-12C alkyl group, (b) 0.5-20 wt.% of anα,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid and optionally (c) 0-40 wt.% of a polymerizable monomer as constituent units, (B) a crosslinking agent consisting of a polyepoxy compound and (C) a catalyst consisting of a quaternary ammonium organic acid salt expressed preferably by the formula (R<1> to R<3> are each a 1-18C hydrocarbon group; R<4> is a 1-8C alkyl; X is an organic acid). The compound C is produced by the anion-exchange reaction of an organic acid with a quaternary ammonium carbonate produced by reacting a t-amine with a carbonic acid diester.
