<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To show broadcasting providers by using various displaying means and to easily recognize a broadcasting provider that is currently received by a receiving end by providing an information decoding means which decodes information a network name or the like that shows a broadcasting provider which is currently received. SOLUTION: A demultiplexer 103 extracts a section that is additional information from a transport stream and sends it to an information decoding part 109. The part 109 sends a network name and a logo mark that corresponds to it to a network information buffer 110, a channel number to a channel number buffer 111 and a program title and a channel name and its logo mark to a program information buffer 112. When a signal of a program table display request is inputted, an image synthesizing part 105 is controlled, the network name, its logo mark, the channel number and program title are composed with video that is sent from a source decoder 104, and a program table is shown on a TV display 106.</p> |
