<p>The invention concerns a method for the sanitary treatment of the free internal volume (8) of a sleeping mattress (1), in particular a spring mattress, said mattress comprising upper (2) and lower (4) surfaces, a lateral peripheral strip (6). The invention is characterised in that it consists in generating an air stream (16) flowing from outside towards the mattress free internal volume (8), active pesticides (18) and /or odoriferous agents being previously, or simultaneously, diffused in the proximity of the mattress. The invention also concerns a device (14) for connecting a suction appliance to said mattress (1), said appliance enabling to generate negative pressure in the free internal volume (8) producing the air stream (16) flowing from outside towards the mattress free internal volume (8).</p> |
