<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition coil with a simple structure for reducing an axial length of a secondary spool. SOLUTION: A winding part 43 of a terminal plate 40 includes a first plane face 44 and a second plane 45. When the winding plate 43 is assembled in a secondary spool 21, the second face 45 is extended from the first face 44 to the high-voltage side of the secondary spool 21, and the second face 45 is put at a given angle ofθwith respect to a high-voltage edge face 60. Then, the working space for turning a secondary winding is provided around the second face 45, so that an axial length at an high-voltage side edge of the secondary spool 21 can be reduced. The winding part 43 is bent at a first bending part 44a and at a second bending part 45a, thereby putting the winding part 43 in contact with a cut part 21e of a jaw part 21c in a crossing face of the secondary spool 21.</p> |
