<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To equalize the height of upper ends of relay terminals and thereby optimize and simplify assembling of electrical equipment by forming a recessed part at the lower end of the side wall of a relay terminal to connect a bus bar tab and an electrical equipment tab by inserting them from the lower and the upper end respectively and fitting the bus bar into it. SOLUTION: A relay terminal is made by bending a rectangular metal plate in the form of quadrangular pipe, forming connecting spring pieces 22a, 22b and the like that are bent inward in an arc-like form on each of its wider width side walls 21a, 21b and forming recessed parts 25a-25d on both their upper and lower ends. A tab of electrical equipment (not shown in the figure) is inserted into the relay terminal from the opening at the upper end, and a tab 24 bent at a right angle of a bus bar 23 is inserted from the opening at the lower end and by pinching them with the connecting spring pieces 22a, 22b and the like respectively, so that the electrical equipment and the bus bar 23 are connected. In this case, the bus bar 23 is fitted into the recessed part 25b at the lower end having a depth more than its thickness so that the relay terminal placed on the upper surface of an insulating plate or the like is prevented from being floated.</p> |
