Modified soy molasses obtained by removing some or all of the oligosugars present in soy molasses. The modified soy molasses may be used as an improved source or a composite source of soy phytochemicals believed to be beneficial in the prevention and amelioration of various pathological conditions. The modified soy molasses is mostly devoid of flatulence and discomfort causing constituents and may therefore be more suitable as a source of soy phytochemicals than ordinary soy molasses. |
