FIELD: deposition of rubber coats on smooth surfaces of bronze, steel and cast iron shafts. SUBSTANCE: process includes preparation of metal surface by any known method, application of layers of adhesive, metal and raw rubber and vulcanization. Layer of stainless steel is deposited by means of electric arc metal spraying on surface of article as metal layer. Vulcanization can be performed in autoclave or mould.
